Tramezzini and Venetian “ombre” invade Rome, “THE QC” opens

On Thursday 5 December at 5.30 p.m., the place that celebrates spritz, prosecco and sandwiches opens. The founding members: ‘We bring the typical Veneto aperitif to Rome. And the surprises don’t end here”.

It is located in the heart of the centre of Rome, in the shadow of Castel Sant’Angelo and at the gates of the Vatican City. The QC is the place that welcomes its guests into the typical Venetian atmosphere, taking them on a journey of taste made up of tramezzini, spritz and prosecco.

From classic flavours to more daring combinations, ideal for the palate of an international clientele, The QC is the place to be for a toast with friends or a quick lunch break. Born combining the quality of Italian catering with the style made in the U.S.A., The QC aspires to be also a reference point for studios and companies in the historic centre who want to have lunch quickly but with taste. For this reason, it is possible to book sandwiches, piadinas and drinks for lunch breaks and meetings.

We decided to open The QC’s first restaurant in Rome because the capital is the perfect starting point for exporting the typical Venetian taste, which everyone likes, throughout Italy and then the world,” says Fermo Meloni, the Roman partner. The one in Via di Porta Castello is the first of a series of The QC restaurants that will open their doors in various cities in 2020, the first of which will be New York in January”. Appointment on Thursday 5 December from 5.30 p.m. for the inauguration of the first “The QC” restaurant in the world with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Between welcome sandwiches and a toast with spritz and prosecco, guests can also admire the mural art created by Nicola Canareggi, an Italian writer specialising in lettering.
